A sonic suite for the family hub.

Motif Sound Design created the notification and product interaction cues for Nori’s new AI Family Hub.

Product imagery: Nori / Domus Next Inc

Sound designed for the rhythm of family life.

The Nori Family Hub brings calendars, routines, tasks, meal planning, shopping lists and voice interaction into one shared home interface. Its audio needed to feel at home in that experience: clear enough to communicate instantly, restrained enough for daily use, and cohesive enough to feel like one product.

01 / OVERVIEW

Distinct moments.
One product voice.

01 Signature interaction

Confirmation

A brief, recognizable cue that confirms Nori heard the invocation and is ready for the next instruction.

02 Contextual feedback

Notification

Purpose-built sounds for the hub’s everyday information, reminders and acknowledgements.

03 Interface language

Interface

Short, purposeful responses for product interactions and system feedback across the family hub.

02 / THE SONIC SUITE

Audio is part of the interface.

The Nori Family Hub brings calendars, routines, tasks, meal planning, shopping lists and voice interaction into one shared home interface. Its audio needed to feel at home in that experience: clear enough to communicate instantly, restrained enough for daily use, and cohesive enough to feel like one product.

The confirmation after “Hey Nori” is a small sound with an important job: it closes the gap between speaking and knowing the system heard you.

03 / SYSTEM THINKING

Calm, clear and built for everyday use.

The Nori Family Hub brings calendars, routines, tasks, meal planning, shopping lists and voice interaction into one shared home interface. Its audio needed to feel at home in that experience: clear enough to communicate instantly, restrained enough for daily use, and cohesive enough to feel like one product.

01

Immediate clarity

Each cue communicates quickly without asking the user to stop and interpret it.

02

Low repetition fatigue

The suite is shaped for a product that lives in the home and may be heard throughout the day.

03

One sonic language

Related gestures and tonal character connect individual sounds into a coherent product system.

04

Human-scale technology

The sound supports Nori’s calm, family-centered role without making the experience feel clinical or mechanical.
